Greetings,

Thought I'd share my latest creation. Scharnhorst, 1943. The upper hull is 3d printed, lower hull, masts, guns, aircraft, rigging etc. all scratch built.

The base is just temporary, the custom case just arrived this week and I hadn't had a chance to mount the ship on the brass pedestals before the photos were taken.

Double WOW! I thought 1/700 was small, but this is just great. Keep up the work.

Thanks!

Gonna do IJN Maya next, but I'm moving soon so the workshop is packed up.

Thanks everyone! I have a blast building in this scale. Of course compromises have to be made but I think the overall effect is there

Thanks! At the urging of my wonderful and patient husband, I ordered what I need to build IJN Maya and the German liner NDL Europa mid-30s.

With the upcoming move, quite a lot has gone into storage but the model equipment is still out. Might be some of the last stuff I pack up now. Ha!

Hi Joe,

Great work in microscopic scale, and there is me struggling to see in 1/350th.

Really impressive,

Cheers
