Hello all,

I'm not a builder but I am wondering if anyone might be interested in building the Amati "Fly" tall ship kit.
I don't have an unlimited budget but have $1000.00 plus kit cost and shipping completed ship to me.
Thanks from Phil on Vancouver Island

I would really like to have George Vancouver's HMS "Discovery" or Chatham or Cooks HMS Resolution or Discovery. There are no kits available for this build that I know of but it looks to me like it would be quite possible to adapt the Amati "Fly" or Amati "Pegasus" kit to one of these ships.
I understand the time and effort that goes into these ships. I am house rich but cash poor so as an added incentive if anyone wants to take this on they are welcome to stay for a week or two at my house on Vancouver Island. It looks out on an area that George Vancouver would have sailed passed in the Discovery. Additionally, one could easily visit the place(Yuquot) Where Captain Cook landed on Vancouver island with the Resolution and Discovery. This is a beautiful and remote site on Nootka island which can be reached by a day trip on a world war two mine sweeper converted to a cargo/passenger ship.
Anyway, send me a pm if you are interested.
On edit, here is the link for the Nootka Island trip:
