After some years of searching I finally found a Hasegawa 1:350 Akitsushima seaplane tender for sale and grabbed it - It was one of my most wanted kits and I´m very happy I finally got her in my stash now

even if my wallet have to recover from the huge crater it caused... Feel like Christmas today

Congrats, Thomas, I've been looking for that one too. Be sure to post your in-progress pics as you build her!

Hi Tim,
lol must have missed this one somehow?! But I´m afraid I would need to accept a bank loan for this eh?
Before I start with this new beauty I will practice first with my chinese Ting Yuan soon.

Always nice to get your hands on a really desired kit Thomas, hope you enjoy the build.
The big one is really impressive, Tim, mind very difficult to sneak past the management at home.
Cheers

Hehe, true words Simon; will be difficult to answer when the wife ask what it is: "Oh that one? My dear I have it already quite some time in stash, you never realised? It was not that expensive..."

Thomas,
Congratulations on procuring a highly sought after kit. It would be great if Hasegawa reissued this kit but I doubt that will ever happen.
Cant wait to see it hit the dock yard.
