Hey Guys!
I just finished my trumpeter hood so I decided to start this build right away.
Pics of the hood will come soon but for now here is the start of the Bismarck.
For upgrades I got a PE set with barrels off ebay from a Chinese company for $30 along with a deck from a different Chinese company.

Conrad,
Great work
I love the side by side comparison, really puts some things into perspective.

Hi Conrad!
I'm joining in with my comment pretty late, however, I've been watching your build some days back. So I'm reporting on board for your build!
Very nice, fat and crisp job you are doing there! Splendid work!
I particularly like your comparison to the HMS Hood, as well - the Trumpf kit, I assume? I am doing the Trumpf one right now, only on a really slow pace...
Looking forward to your progress,
cheers,
Jan

Hey Jan, welcome aboard!
I've been following your build hood since the beginning and your work is amazing
Mine is the trumpeter kit also, but yours puts mine to shame:p
I hope to finish her up before the Bismarck hits the paint booth.
on a side note, I have just finished building a base for the Bissy which i'll post pics of asap

Hi Conrad,
Very nice work indeed on the on the superstructure bulkheads. That will really add depth to the end result, Under a coat of paint and a wash it will look right.
Cheers.

Hi Conrad,
I just can second Russ and Si, the job you are doing on the shelter deck bulkheads is a really fine job, that's the things that Brin a model to life!!

Looks like a real nice install you did with that decking. Any issues with not staying down? I would have one or two spots come up within a day or two.
Again nice work.

Thanks Mark
The deck seems to be stuck down pretty well... the self sticking side was pretty sticky so I hope things will stay down
