Hi all
FINALLY!! This has been under way for some time now, and especially that camouflage paint job was a real killer. I've never done so much masking before.
It's the Trumpeter kit almost OOB, just used metal barrels from RB Models and made some of the mast parts from scratch and the rigging from fly binding thread.

I forgot to ask; I tried a new painting technique for the lower hull, which is supposed to make the red hull color look old and used, but what do you think? Does it work?

Nice work Jacob, I always liked this ship, very interesting subject. Hopefully the model companies will start releasing these lesser seen ships that seem to be coming out now in 1/700 scale. (with full hulls please)

Were the laundry? Seen a snapshot of the Roberts sitting in harbor covered in laundry.

Great looking model, I hope mind comes out half as good.
