The pictures below are of a 1/700 scale Sims class destroyer model that was hand brushed using Tru-Color Paint by Michael Megee of the IPMS Craig Hewitt chapter in Phoenix, AZ.
Mike chose Tru-Color Paint for their ease in hand brushing the U.S. Naval colors and their easy clean up. Note that the model is relatively small, which does not allow for much camouflage so all colors were applied freehand without masking. The majority of the U.S. Naval colors released can be applied with a paint brush and with a little thinning with TCP-015, Thinner, by air brush.
