When it said "3-D" I thought it meant 3-D printed. All kits are 3-D. Guess they just mean making a 3-D object from 2-D parts.

Yes, 3D like a pop-up book, or paper-craft type model, nicely rendered in 18-8. I have their "Black Pearl", but have not opened the package.
