Hello all. I'm not an consummate ship model builder (usually armour and aircraft), so forgive me if I'm flogging a dead horse on these forums, as I'm sure it's been addressed over the years...
I'm looking for a decent styrene kit of one of the dreadnoughts or battlecruisers in the Royal Navy order-of-battle at Jutland. It seems as though the major kit manufacturers have ommitted this particular engagement. Trumpeter and Hobby Boss (to name two) seem to cover ships which participated in just about every other naval engagement in WWI, but not a single name which fought at Jutland? Am I missing something? No Iron Dukes, no King Edwards , No Lion, no Queen Elisabeths... nothing in styrene. Not to knock on the resin guys, but I don't much feel like shelling out $2-300 for what will be my first ship model in 25 years.
Thanks in advance.

The only thing I am aware of is 1915 Warspite but in 1/700 scale.

Sparse in the 1/700 scale as well. We are now seeing a 1/350 Seydlitz but virtually nothing RN. We can only hope that the Seydlitz is the start of a trend.

Trumpeter's HMS Dreadnought could be the basis of a Bellerophon-class battleship although it would mean some extensive surgery on the Trumpeter kit.

I could be wrong but I thought the HMS dread naught was at Jutland. Trumpeter makes it in multiple years, 1907 and 1917 that I know of off the top of my head. I've been known to be wrong on any of occasions though so feel free to correct me.

HMS Dreadnought was not at Jutland due to undergoing a refit at the time.

They also do the 1915 version. I am just finishing that one now.
