For some reason the campaign isn't showing up. I've put a call in for the campaign manager to look into it.

Rory, it is looking like a Buckley DE! I've been contemplating taking on this very model, so I'll be interested to see how your build progresses!

Have re-commenced work on my USS England. Superstructure and deck are now built and ready for paint. Weapons and mast to be built.

Good progress. I hope to build one of these someday since one was named for a sailor from my hometown who was killed at Pearl Harbor.

I’m in with Pyro’s Chinese War Junk in 1/87 scale. Begun in 2015, I restarted it again this month after drydocking it for nearly a year. Here’s how she looked at the start of this month’s reboot:
I have since been working on the masts and sails.

Did Pyro make a "Monitor and Merrimac" kit? I seem to remember building one as a kid. My brother built the Monitor and build the (Merrimac) Virginia.

...
They did - the combo kit was later issued by Life-Like and Lindberg, as I recall.
So did you and your brother have your ships fight it out?

They were full-hull kits so I think they weren't played with much. Now, if they had been waterline ....

Going to call this one done. Spent pretty much the whole weekend on her. I am not 100% happy but reached a point where the more I tinkered the more I messed up.
So here is the USS England, warts and all

I looked for the campaign gallery to post these in but couldn't find it. I will post them there once it has been created or I am pointed in the right direction.

I didn't notice that one hadn't been created. A request has been made.
Congratulations on finishing!
I know the feeling of trying to fix things and making it worse. I spent a bit of time trying to put the wheel back on an leIG-18, only to knock yet another piece off.

Rory,
Your England looks great! The Measure 21 scheme is so dark, though, it is difficult to see against that white background - could you take some more pics against a darker backdrop so we can better appreciate your work?
From what I can see so far, it looks first rate!

Subject to some minor adjustments by the sailor in the foreground, the junk's boom lashings are now done - ready for masts and sails!

No word on the Campaign Gallery. It seems our Campaign Manager has been AWOL since March 31. No doubt, Real Life has his attention right now.
