Once again can I direct you to my selected link. On the model Fleet site, A friend of mine Matt Stien has just posted photo's of his nachimo 1/500 Yamoto build. He has been resin casting his own parts to make all his AA gun batteries workable. And also duplicating all the Float planes and other parts for future builds. You will just have to see for yourself! Go to the Model Fleet and scroll down till you come to The Yamoto group build, his articles and photo's will be there.

Enjoy,

Garry

Thanks Matt.

Pretty incredible what some people can do. Me, if I get the kit BUILT, and I don't want to smash it to pieces, I consider myself lucky.
