There is a cross reference chart posted on the Tru-Color Paint website for WWII Camouflage Measures # 1 through 33 for the various Grays, Blues, Black and White colors, plus Anti-Fouling Red used on most of the major warships used in the Atlantic and Pacific Theater of Operations and the corresponding Tru-Color Paint color.

This should make it easier for the modeler to determine which paint to use with which scheme and year he is building that applies to the ship. The chart also lists the colors most common to all ships; Anti-Fouling Red, Boot Black and Bronze (for the propellers).

Note that we are seeking information for the many greens and browns used for LST's, PT boats, other landing craft, etc. used in both theaters of operation. We need the combination of colors, years used, etc. Once we have enough info gathered on these colors (and there are many colors - 30+) we will put a chart together and post that too.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to reply to this thread.
