I wonder if this modeled as at the time of PT109 or earlier? Have the Fine Molds FW2 IJN Destroyer AMAGIRI with PT-Boat PT-109 1/350 Scale Kit.

The model depicts Amagiri as she appeared in 1943 - so yes! Check out the box art; you can see the flaming PT-109 sliding along Amagiri's side near the stern.
