Simply put, your model is how I would like my ship models to look! Your skill, craftsmanship, and artistry is excellent. Like Tim said, there is so much to look at - such splendid work. I will go back and look at some of the photos again. You really seem to have put a lot of research into her.

I used many very helpful books: «USS Alabama on deck», "South Dakota class battleships» ( Warship pictorial), «The battleship USS Alabama» (Top Drawings from Witold Koszela), "USS Alabama" (images of America) from Kent Whitaker, USS Battleships 1941-1963 from Wayne Scarpaci.

This build is outstanding. Having walked her decks, she's in Mobile Bay as a museum ship now, I can say you've captured her spectacularly. Very well done.
