Heavily discounted at $36.05? what is the problem with this model? I can not seem to find information .

Damn, that’s a great deal. I haven’t built it myself but every review etc I’ve seen shows it too look like a good kit.

Andy from Andy’s Hobby Headquarters built one and it looked really good. If I was into Italian ships I would get one.

From what I've read online, the Trumpeter Zara has undergone a retooling as the older version had some fit problems.

Is this the older or newer tooling?

Sometimes you just luck out and find a good deal. Its why I check Amazon everyday. Some of their 3rd party vendors will really mark items down. You aren't Irish are you...LOL.

After doing some reading I discovered the Zara was sunk in battle against Warspite (my favourite ship) so that made it a must buy for me. She has been ordered and will be on its way once its back in stock.

That is the new tooling Zara. I have both versions and they are not even close to the same kit. New one is much better.
