Revell of Germany is conducting a survey of what new model kit you would like to see in the future. So ship modelers, nows your chance to tell um what you want!
The addy is: http:// www.revell.de/en/modelkits/index.php After you vote for the model you want, come back here and let us know the kit you voted for.

My vote was a no brainer for me, The USS South Dakota Battleship in 1/350 scale!

Cheers,

Garry

For me it's also a no brainer. Say it with me now, "1/350 HMS HOOD in 1941 rig." Is there any other ship that is crying out so badly for a well made injected plastic 1/350 kit made to modern standards? HMS HOOD, HMS HOOD, HMS HOOD. Don't be greedy Garry, there are PLENTY of US Battleships. Give us possibly the most famous ship in British history.

After that I'll support you in the South Dakota to my dying breath. But give us the Mighty Hood first.

WHAT! Get off this forum.

I hope at least you asked for something Allied, not any more of that German stuff. Or at least Swedish.

HMS Ajax in 1:350 scale. I'd like Achilles and Exeter too but didn't wish to appear too greedy.

I put in for a 1/350 Scharnhorst as he was when he took on the HMS Duke of York---with alternate parts for the projected refitting with 15" guns. For secondarys, some 1/700 German light cruisers---Nurnburg and Leipzig.

Please BlueBear, let's get more of the winners represented before we start showing more of the losers. In 1/350 scale there are the four Iowas, about 40% of the post WWI US vessels, two British battleships, about 9% of the WWII battle force. The Germans have their entire battleship fleet covered, Bismarck and Tirpitz. If you count Heller, in 1/400 that is pretty close to 1/350, then their entire fleet of major units, if you count the "pocket battleships" as major units. Before we start asking for more German ships let's get some of the other guys taken care of. Like maybe the French or Italian fleets? But first let get more British!

fat chance of it actually happening but I voted for a 1/350 IJN Nagato or Mutsu. Apart from the Yamato/Musashi by Tamiya I don't think there are any 1/350 plastic Japanese heavy warships out there.

Howdy Yellow_snow, Dang fine choice with the Nagato class! They are my favorite IJN Battleships. Next in line would be the Ise class, yes we need 1/350 IJN warships.

For me it would be a 1/350 full hull, with all the lines that are supposed to be there, on the
Charles De Gaulle. The picture they got of it setting in the harbor is mighty impressive, one beautiful ship, and after reading about it, it is the first of its kind, with SATRAP. I was really impressed with the technology the French have put out the last several years.
Charles De Gaulle
Here is a link if anybody wants to see the Charles De Gaulle, Many thanks to Mike for showing me how to do this.

Don't much on ships, but the USS Tarawa in 1/350 would be my pick.

I voted for a 1:350 scale King George V class battleship for personal reasons!

Wouldn't it be nice with modern pantograph technology for some of the 1:72 kits to be upgraded to 1:35 - the most covered scale figure wise. Now that is a dream.......
