Wow! Look at the price!

I am sure it will be cheaper from the Japanese/Hong Kong based on line stores.
Interestingly, in the same ad Graf Spee is substantially cheaper...must be something in that
cheers

Trumpeter stuff is getting as expensive as Dragon stuff here in the UK.
Don't know of actjual dimemsions but isn't Exeter smaller than a Belfast kit?

Yes the Exeter is 73 feet shorter than the Belfast.

will definitely be waiting to see if Trumpy had their "A" or "B" design team on this one, given the price...

Indeed Russ.
The Exeter kit should be no more than £30-35GBP maximum in the real world. Same for Belfast/Roberts/Abecrombie etc.
The Exeter is not Dragon's Scharnhorst, and even that was well overpriced when it came out - at least here in the UK where it cost over £100GBP. Hell for another £5 I can pick up Italari's 1/35 Vosper MTB kit!
I can still pick up the venerable Tamiya KGV or PoW for around £40. I know they are old and need a bit of work but even Hobbyboss's new kits aren't out of the way in terms of price either, but £75 for Exeter? Nah! I'll wait until the hype has settled down before parting weith the hard-earnt.
