This my model of the Hunley in 1/35th scale. It was made from the MikroMir kit, and a little extra.













The kit went together fairly well but needed a little TLC to bring it up to snuff. Thanks for looking, all comments or questions are welcome. Al

Very nicely done Al. I like these kind of early submarines. These men who crewed this nutshells must have been exeptionally courageous.

Thanks, Thomas. I agree about the bravery of the crews, especially those of the Hunley. She sank twice before her date with history, taking thirteen men, including her inventor, to their graves. For men to volunteer to take her out again after that is unimaginably brave indeed.
