what would the color have been on the aft bulkhead ship name? got a good start on this model, the disruptive camo looks pretty good?

Hi David,

I'm not certain about this, but my understanding is that the letters were polished brass in peacetime, but during the war they were painted over in the same camouflage as the surrounding bulkhead.
