Hello ,
It's been a while since I posted here.
Around 2013 I was building a Vosper 204 dutch navy and a PT boat .
Halfway the PT build it dropped of a 2meter high self.
I putt it aside and now I'm repairing and trying to finish it.

this was before the drop.
So here are some photos to show where I'm now.

I got some stuff to dress the boat from Royal Model.

And waiting for more stuff from Umodels
Did a lot of small changes like moving the forward torpedo racks 18mm forward making some cleat plates for the stern
Removing some detail and making new ones to backdate it to an early 500 series boat.
Still a lot of work ahead but all in all the damage wasn't as bad as I thought.

cheers, Tom

Tom,

Glade to see you haven't given up. Your before picture displays a wonderful looking model with great detail. I am sure you will do a fine job restoring her.

Thanks Mark,
If steady been putting on extra detail on her.
couple of braces between the 40mm ready rack and the engine-room hatch.
And I changed the torpedo-racks because Italeri made a bit of mess of the eyes for the lashings.

it's not much but I'll get there in the end.

HI,
here are the latest changes I made to the bridge/ radiohut.
It seems that Italeri put the side windows to high and made them to big.
Also there were some vents missing on both sides.

Is there someone who knows if the early ammo locker at the starboard side was maintained on the later boats?

Tom,

Nice work with moving and resizing that window, can't tell that it wasn't original.

Mark ,Tim ,
Thank you,
Tim the Harley is another project.
Also Italeri 1/9 makeover WLA to WLC 1942.
I'm still trying to make a good skid plate and a rear wheel siren.
The rest of the parts are made.
But the PT has had the longest wait so I'll finish her first.

You probably find more photos under this name ;
1/9 Italeri WLC scratch build.

Restoration from real life damage is a crappy thing to have to do. But I think we've all been thought it at least once. Your depth charge racks look awesome. I have the ones from the accessory set and they are different from the ones from the Elco boat. What gives Italeri? Ill use you pics for reference cause they look great. Bob Davis

Thanks Bob,
Glad that you can use some of my images.
Here are some shots of the boat with most larger parts glued in place.

Now comes the weathering ,decals and small stuff to make it used.
