Hi folks,
I haven't built a ship model, except for the Revell 1/72 Gato, in quite a long time and I need a little feedback (my usual builds are aircraft).
I have a question that I hope someone can answer. I have a re-pop of the old Revell 1/426 Pine Island kit and would like to build it as a nostalgia build (I built the Norton Sound MANY years ago when I was a kid). My question is, does anyone make decent after-market 5" 38 single mounts that could replace the kit supplied items? Any help is appreciated.

I believe Shapeways makes a nice 3d printed 5"/38cal gun, https://www.shapeways.com.

Post your build when you do the Pine Island!

I did one of those kits as a kid too (I just loved that tiny Mariner flying boat)
