Did any of you happen to see the article about the Nurenberg show? There was a mention of Andrea minitures coming out with a 1/35 scale Roman bireme.

"A most impressive item from this company is the 1/32 (54mm) Roman Bireme, cast in resin with more than 600 white metal parts, photo-etched decks and no less than 43 realistic figures. The price has been set to 1600 Euros which makes it by a margin the most expensive new kit listed in this report!"

I can just see the conversation with my wife when I tell her about this. "but honey, it comes with 43 FIGURES." "Oh yeah, figure THIS!"

Pretty impressive model and diorama. The diving guy is pretty cool. As high as those seas are though I have to wonder if the battle in the diorama took place during "The Perfect Storm." Should put the Adrea Gal in there somewhere...

Thanks for the links.
