Mark,
I have this kit in my stash and I just finished building the three deck Akagi kit so this will be most interesting to see how this one goes together. The fun part was putting in all of the support beams, Good luck.

Mark,
Nice progress, she looks easy to put together than the 3 deck version. Looks like everything is fitting nicely.

Very nice progress Mark,
an interesting looking internal structure.
I am sort of tempted, but my eyes, even with an optivisor, struggle with anything smaller than I/350th scale.
Keep up the excellent work.
Cheers

Mark,
Nice progress. Good to see all of that cross bracing should help with getting the deck aligned when the time comes.

I just finished my Hasegawa Akagi 1/700 scale too. The struts on the main deck to flight deck were a beast to assemble. https://imgur.com/gallery/aLWMDTm

I replaced the struts on my three deck Akagi with PE struts and they were a pain to align and fit at the proper angle.

Mark I am impressed by how you have mounted Akagi. Is that something you made, or something you purchased ready made? Regardless it looks like a very effective way to display a 1/700 scale ship.
