I've been busy working on an entry in Hobby Town contest last weekend so I haven't gotten much done on my Warspite. I have decided to give up on the craft acrylic paints. I've used them before but the two that I got for the gray of the ship and the tan of the decks are just so thick that I haven't found the right mix to thin them down properly to either brush paint or air brush. So I fell back on the old standby, Tamiya. I picked up Sky Grey and Deck Tan as the two closest colors to the Humbrol colors the kit suggests. I'm sure I should get some progress done this weekend.

Howdy Rodger,
Glad to see you are back on the build again. When is that contest you are going to?
Sounds like that will be a fun time. Wish you the best of luck in it!
Regards,
Garry
