The completed Akitsu Maru. The decals were difficult because the came in sections and were hard to keep in a line. The instructions and box art showed the solid center line going through the circle but in the one photo of the real ship I found the line did not. The aircraft are Stellas The other is a Kayaba autogyro both used for ASW. The kit Stellas are not to bad but the autogyro is pretty poor and I ended up using just one. There are after market replacements for both of them and the Stella looks decent but the autogyro looks as bad as the kit one. I have the replacement Stella but I haven't built it yet.

This looks good! What a weird subject... An Army aircraft carrier! Anyway, I have enjoyed watching her come together. For someone who doesn't do a lot of blogs, this was a fine effort!
