Thanks Mark. I wanted a 1/350 Forrestal class but no company was going to do one. So I took the step to convert. It's going okay. Taking my time one step at a time.

Hi Mardis,

Your CVA-62 is looking better and better. I have the ancient (and flawed) Revell 1/540 Forrestal in my stash, but I haven't yet had the courage to take it on. Maybe your Independence will be an inspiration - or at least some great reference notes once I start!

Thanks guys! I will finish the hangar bay tomorrow. I will be sending photos of the air wing also tomorrow. That person did my 1967 Kitty Hawk air wing decals. I will be working on that Monday.
