Apologies for the absence over the last couple of months, but a bit of reworking has been going on at the Duster residence, working from home full time with this going on has been real "fun", camping out in bits of the house.
The new workshop will not be completely finished for a while, but at least I have been able to make it workable.
VE Day,
I could start getting in and personalising the space.
A bit of a nod the Western Approaches Camo, the colours are then best I could find with lockdown.
After sunset, the duster moved to it's new home.
Yesterday, as a temporary measure my old bench has been moved down.
Mikasa has been moved on to the bench, the first thing that I will get some work done on.
The flooring has yet to go down (about three weeks, the screed floor has to dry out fully), and then I have a new bench and spraying area to build, oh and the beer fridge to fit.
It is good to be back.
Cheers
Si

Hi Si,
I know what you mean about working from home; I'm grateful to be working when unemployment claims in the U.S. are at levels not seen since the Great Depression... but... bleh.
Anyway, I love your Western Approaches workroom. Brilliant!

Cheers,
Good to be back, when the main building work was going on, dust everywhere and the old workshop got a bit cluttered.
worth it to have more space.
Thanks you, I am quite pleased with how Mikasa is coming on, did a bit of work on the rigging yesterday, will get a few pics posted later / tomorrow.
Cheers
Si

Glad to hear you working, the other thing about this space, I have room for a desk as well.
Well I did want to put a personal stamp on it, glad you like it.

Thanks Mark,
Good to be back, that bench came out of the old workshop, cobbled together out of some kitchen fittings I found going cheap about 18 years ago.
Cable reel.. hadn't thought of that !!

Good to be back Russ,
It is a bit "jury rigged" at the moment, but it is a great space to work in.
Cheers

Thanks Jan,
good to be back, I did want to make it unique a nod to the Western Approaches scheme, and it is good to have a home for the Duster, rather than stuck in a draw.
with a bit of luck will be able to get some real build time in there this weekend.
Cheers
Si
