In the latest edition of the Spanish modelling mag Euro-Modelismo , someone has done a really nice comparative feature on building a Fletcher class destroyer, though not a warship builder (anymore ) I thought it would be useful to share the internet links with you, although I'm pretty sure that you will all have them.....

First, is the Official site for the Fletchers.....

http://www.usskidd.com

Secondly a site concentrating on naval history and photography...

http://www.hazegray.org

Thirdly, the veterans site for those who served on destroyers in WWII....

http://www.destroyers.org

All nice sites, and although I'm sure they are well known, nice for the unitiated like me..... ...Jim

Hehehe..... It's gotta be flattops bruv!... I've been looking at some of the early american carriers and..... However the armor/aviation stash doesn't seem to be getting any smaller... Though the amphip/assault ships are gaining some ground in my thoughts as well... I spent 4 years doing a doctorate which always came back to the same subject - Tarawa Class Carriers #:-) ...Jim
