Does ANYONE make a 1/350 WWl German Uboat? In either resin or styrene (preferably in styrene)? I have AM Works SMS Vulkan in my stash (for several years!) and would like to place it in a dio with a Uboat for context.

Uboat-Laboratorium from Russia offers (or offered?) a UB-1 and Combrig offers a UC-1 (underwater cruiser) in 1:350 scale. I have seen Combrig´s boat in Ebay from time to time but both seems to be somehow rare to get.

P.S. I also have the VULKAN U-Boat salvation ship. It ia a very nice kit and I am looking forward to build this, too one day. Did you know that Russia is still operating (a heavily modified and modernized ship of this class for >100 years in service now, the KOMMUNA. Just amazing).

There is a Yankee Modelworks resin 1/350 WWI German U-Boat U-35 that is basic but not bad.

Well, several searches only showed that YMW no longer exists, Freetime Hobbies bought some of their molds (but no resin models for sale!), and judging from the price of a Type lX Uboat USD 120, which makes around CDN 150 for a model 5" - 6" long quite unrealistic! In short, no WWl Uboats available! Does a Type Vll (AFV) resemble in any way, (including modifications) any WWl Type?

No...the hull is quite different and most of the other details too.

There is a WW1 uboat (waterlined) offered by Shapeways.

Hmmm...interesting. Replace the cable cutter and the deck gun, and add some PE railings and it might work. Depends on Shapeways questionable quality.

Found on a auction website Combrig U-75 a minelayer sub.
Blue Water Navy had U-35 now made by Yankee Modelworks.
