Does anyone know if there is a 1/700 kit available of a Butler-class destroyer escort? I'd kind of like to do a model of the USS Samuel B. Roberts.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim,
Skywave/Pitroad has 1/700 DE-339 John C. Butler class kit. Not sure if kit number is W17 or SW-1600. Both numbers are on the box. The kit includes 2 waterline vessels. The decals include separate numbers so the kits can depict any ship in the class. Other nation flags are also included for those lent/sold to other nations.
I have the kit and I think the details are good, especially for 1/700 scale.

I found the same info on Scalemates but was unable to find any for sale. You must have the kit for awhile?
