Hi Folk. Well the interior is finished on my ambulance except for me making the stretchers. Sorry about the poor quality of the pics but they were taken late last night just before I glued the roof on.

Looking good. I think that it will pass the Roo test. I can't wait to see the whole thing done. What is the paint scheme going to be on this one? Will it be in one of the neat Aussie Cammo's or a straight color?

Brother Pouch

Your usual fine job--the pics really accentuate the overall tight fit of the parts which is a credit to your scratch skills, and to careful planning for the build.

Oh, by the way:

F-it of the scratch parts is very clean and tight
A-wesome and unique build
N-o gaps or seams
T-errific job rounding the roof curves
A-wesome build
S-cratching at its best.
T-op quality construction
I-nteresting subject
C-an't be beat

most of the ambulance pics I have seen are one color. Either dark green or light stone for the desert. This one will be dark green.

Howdy 'Roo

O.K., ........let's see. I like Barb-B-Ques, I could probably eat my own body weight in shrimp, I already speak the language (although my 'twangs' british), and I just LOVE Foster's beer !!

Gee, can't think of any reason not to move in next door to my good mate 'Roo way out there in Queensland! This way I can badger him everyday after work to show me how he does the things he does.........

Nice work S.I.R., keep it comin' !

....hmmmmm, problem then.....I only eat shrimp.

(EDIT)....Actually, I'll eat any crustacean! Preferably Scallops,or Mussles, or any shellfish when in need, a good oyster, crab, lobster, venison...oops, wait a minute...that's got legs.
But...crabs have legs.......oooohhhhh.

Cliff,
LOOKS SUPURB !!
I'm glad I do not have to build an interior for my FAT.
Might I suggest cotton cloth or surgical tape for the stretchers w/ balsa Dowels for the
shafts and brass scraps for the feet.
It is really coming along well Roo. Keep up the Great work.
PS. I know where there are (3) Italeri Checrolet 15 CWT kits for the taking.

yes please! I would like them all. (I'm a greedy bugger) :-)

I will take your advice on the stretchers when I do them. I have the exterior of the ambulance body finished ready to paint and should have the correct resin wheels early next week so I can finish the spare wheel carrier and then the painting.

I will be finishing the Chev petrol tanker at the same time.

Thanks for your comments
