Hello mates.
Had to retake some pic's of my DKM Tirpitz with my new camera. Since my old Fred Flintstone 35mm took lousy ones. I'm realy loving this new digi cam!
If this works out, I will retake alot of my models.
Please let me know what you think.

Cheers,

Garry

Great model, question.

What color is:

The dark grey camo, and the deck.

Thanks! Looks Wonderful!

Gary I love the PE rails, and the camo is very clean but didn't the Tripitz have a fake white bow wave at the false bow on the camo pattern??? STUG

Howdy Stug,
First, thank you for your complements! False bow wave on the Tirpitz, No, not that I know of.
I did alot of reference work on this ship. She had three different Camo schemes simler to this one in her short career, and none of them had false bow waves added to them. Now her sister ship(brother) The Bismarck did, and several other DKM ships had the false bow wave. Including the Graf spee, the Prinz Eugen, and I beleave some of the light Cruisers did also. Good question Stug!

Regards,

Garry

G'Morning Sean, Yes I Drilled out the main gun barrels with a pin vice drill.
A delicate operation, for me anyway!

Cheers,

Garry
