I am stuck Iam not sure what pattern if any to paint the decks of my model of USS Charles Ausburne DD570 as she appeared after her refit in Mare Island Navy Dockyard in September 1944.from images on website:
http://www.history.navy.mil/photos/sh-usn/usnsh-c/dd570-c.htm
The views looking down on the deck seems to show work in progress interupted by provisioning the ship.
The standard deck pattern was eck blue 20-B and ocean grey 5-0 scheme used with measure 32/14d.
Would any body know or remember if she had this standard 2 tone deck pattern or just 20-b colour decks October 1944-1945.
Also what colour was the underside of the of the overhanging bridge wings and gun tubs etc. was it : white 5-U.
Does anybody know of any existing photo images showing the decks at this time, if so how could I get a copy.
I realise this a big ask, but I like to do justice to this great ship and would appreciate any help you can offer.

Regards
Bryan Jones.
