Hi,
Does anybody have or know where there are photos of HMS Victorious (R38). showing the deck camouflage pattern during the period 1941 to 1943.
Ihave a good reference book :
"The Aircraft Carrier Victorious (Anatomy of the Ship)"by
Ross Watton and Warship Perspectives Royal Navy vol,1,2,3 &4 by Alen Raven.all excelent books.
Excelent book but I need more deck camoflage mformation, the patterns seam to have changed over that period.
Also Has any body made the Heller 1:400 Illustrious kit as Victorious,I need feed back.
For the record:
Having purchased the Heller Illustrious kit.
I intend to use : White Ensign-1/400 -PE 4007-HMS Illustrious photo etch set and in L'Arsenal range 1/400 - AC 400-30 Grumman F4F Wildcat/Martlet, AC 400-32 Fairey Fulmar, and or Swordfish ,Seafires and Sea Huricanes when they are released.
Thank you
Regards.
Bryan Jones.

Hi Bryan,
The only pic I have of the flightdeck of Victorious is this one. It isn't the clearest but it gives some idea of the look of the thing.
