There was a resin vietnam river boat for sale on blast-models who made that? It wasn't the Tamyia pibber it was a big gun boat with cannons and stuff and it was used on the rivers.
Thanks

It sounds as if it could be a Monitor, large turret up front with smaller ones near the back.If thats what it is its made by Nimix, a Spanish company i believe.
Pretty expensive by all accounts.

Howdy tom,
This has been discussed recently.
Please check this thread....
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/39012&page=1
But as mark197205 has already said, Nimix did manufactre a 1/35th scale Monitor kit. Price was 'put-offish', but having seen it in the flesh, it wasn't too bad.
My major hope is that this new release will be at least as good a quality as the Nimix release....
Tread.
EDIT: As I've already said. An offering of kits based on the BWN would definitely force me into a major 'swing' of modeling subject matter....

...and hopefully some of the aftermarket companies like Hard Corps Models will come out with various Navy crewmen for the new 35th scale Brownwater Navy craft...
By the way, I do own the Nimix Monitor --- had to save up for it for a while... It is good --- definitely not perfect, but prettu darned good... Hope to start building it in early 2005 (working on my Italeri LCM-3 is inspiring me)!!!
Looking forward to all of these new BWN releases...and desperately hoping a PACV hovercraft will be among them!
Aloha,
Johnny B-
