This is a pic I found of a Top fuel Hydroplane Dragboat, scale is unone. I'm not sure if it was a kit or a scratch built job, but whatever, it is very good!
This is some modeling that I could realy get into! Mainly Dragboats and Unlimited Hydroplanes. Does anyone know if any kits are available for these subjects?
Cheers now,
Garry

SPEEDBOATS!!!
A Miss Budwieser would be quite a lengthy scratch build I think. Wouldn't you agree?..

Yes indeed I do agree! I used to race RC nitro powered Hydros. All of my boats were bought pre-made in kit form 1/8 scale. But a lot of the guys in the club scratch built there own boats, and there was some beauties! Since then I have been so involved with building military models that the boat bug fell behind. But I would still love to build some of these little gems in a smaller scale. Say 1/35 or 1/24 .
Cheers,
Garry

Gary,
The old Monogram Miami vice speedboat is approx. 1/36 scale. I used one to kitbash/scratch a
Tunnel Hull speedboat aka SpeedKat. The construction is complete, but I lost interest and did not
finish the deed. I was thinking of doing the colors in a Coor's Silver Bullet motif. Chrome or silver front with Blue rear portion and Red Coor's Logo.
Oh the Brain cells we waste. LOL
