Has anyone taken a look at the new Fujimi 1/700 Constellation/ Kittyhawk? I've seen it listed in the $70---$80 range, but my local hobby shops say that they can't get it in---not imported into the US. I have the Italaeri 1/720 Constellation, and its going to be a lot of work just to get it right for Viet Nam---something of a disappointment..
I was aboard her for a run into Saddam's Kitty-box in 1994-95, and I'ld like to know what impression you all have. Is the new Fujimi worth the money?

The kit may be resin...I don't know.
I'd be hesitant to pay that much for a 1/700...for a Fujimi, it would have to be a beauty. As my Dad says:
"Fujimi must be Japanese for nice airplanes, crappy ships!"

It is definately not woth $70 to $80. I got mine from Hobby Link Japan for $44. I am still thinking that I paid too much for it. It would be better to get an Italeri version, modify it, and add Skywave or Fujimi aircraft.
