Here's a picture of a 1:350th scale River Class Frigate I am building for my Dad's 80th birthday. It is the Skytrex metal kit which required significant mods to make it into a RCN version. The single 4 inch forward gun was replaced with a twin 4 inch mount,( best guess based on photographs), removal of an extra life boat and provision of additional brackets for the life rafts (still to be added), removal of extra depth charge launchers and what I think was a post war variable depth sonar hoist and minesweeping apparatus. The kit masts were replaced with brass rod and PE hand rails added all round. The rigging is also a best guess based on photos.I also have to add some Depth charge stawage on the stern.
Note that this is my first ship model. I normally do 1:35 scale armour.
