Hi all

Has anyone have seen the Revell Germany 2005/2006 Catalog?

They are releasing a 1/144 scale Type 212 deutsche u-boot (modern), for about € 15.00, to be released in August....

It seems that 1/144 is the scale for subs (at the moment!!)...

I saw that Rui, and its a good thing! As much as I like the RG 1/72 U-boat, I realy think that 1/144 is a great scale for submarines. Just big enough for good detail, and yet not to big to where one has a display problem. Also, and here is a tip. 1/144 scale is very close to the N scale railroad excesseries! PE, chains , figures and a load of other goodies that one can use for Submarine modeling and scratch building. So 1/144 is a good thing!

Cheers,

Kind of a wrap up of 1/144 scale subs:

Revell Germany:
- Typ XXI
- Typ XXI (cut away version)
- Wilhelm Bauer (modified Typ XXI)
- Typ 206
- Typ 212

Trumpeter
- Chinese Type 33 (Russian Romeo)
- Chinese Type 33G
- Russian Kilo
- USS Seawolf

ICM
- Typ XXIII

Raccoon Models
- JMSDF Uzushio

I think that none (ahahahah) is missing!
With this little list, one is able to make an impressive display, in a narrow cabinet

I did not list the motorized versions, toyish remakes...

Hi guys,

I'm not specialist of warship modeling, but I've bought the Trumpeter 1/144 Seawolf and Kilo is on way... :-)

I would like to know if somebody made 1/144 figures ?
N railway figures are close to 1/144 (1/160 if I well remember).
Any good shop to find Seawolf crew members :-)

Thanks for help !
Take care
