For those that have not have seen this exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago IL. When I was in Chicago last May the exhibit was shut down so that they could move the submarine to a new indoor site. They hope to better preserve the sub in a climate controlled site. The link that I provide has time lapsed videos of the 5 day move.
The Museum of Science and Industry was a great place to spend time... when I was growing up. When I go back this May the exhibit should be open.. and planning on getting a lot of pictures.

While at this site ... take time to explore all of the features they have. The virtual tours are also great, along with the moving videos.

LOL... you have to stop in the Newark City on the way..... :-) :-) :-)
I could entertain you for hours with stories of me in Chicago, awaiting court martial at Great Lakes....... :-) :-) :-) :-) rolling on floor.
