:-) Dave that was way to easy ! LOL! Yes It is the French Battleship Jean Bart. A grand and beautiful ship she was! Just like her sister ship the Richeleiu.

Not new, it was taken in the 1950's . The Jean Bart had a life from 1940 to 1970 before she was scrapped.

Nice picture of a nice looking battleship, Garry. Not only was she good looking, but she was one of the best treaty battleships ever built. Too bad they never got to build the Gascogne (sp?) - which would have had one quad 15 inch turret forward and one aft. That would have been a fine looking ship.
