Hi Mates!

Here is my second entry for Dive! Dive! Dive! Campaign:
a 1/35 Siluro a Lenta Corsa (SLC) 200 Maiale!
The building is complete, the primer is already aplyed and next is the painting and weathering it!

Some scratchbuild was necessary on some bits and pieces mainly in the manned positions and on the rear, where the Propeller protection was completely left out and needed a total scratchbuild!!!

The Cart is from Accurate Armour German torpedo Set.

For those who are not familiar with this craft, it's a two crew member manned torpedo used by the italians of X-MAS during the first years of the second world war, and where a result of experiments by Italian Navy Captain G.N. Tesei and Toschi.

The most famous attacks preformed using the Maiale's where those departing from an "abandoned" cargo ship Olterra near Gibraltar - severall attacks with different success and the attack on Alexandria Harbour.

The Maiale's sunk a total of 200.000 Tons (16 ships) including the Queen Elisabeth and the Valiant.

Feedbacks are welcome!

Hi Garry,

You did right on pointing that out to me
The model is Ok but can be improoved, specially in the rear part (it cost me a part of my thumb) 60% work, but this is the fun part - minus the bleeding

Thanks for your compliments
