Well today I went out and bought the H.M.S. Tiger by EE it seems to be quite a simple kit with a few sinkholes and plenty of flash but at $15. I could'nt pass it up .My question is does anyone know if there is a photo-etch set made for it ?And I have already checked WEM.

Hi Martin!
I dont think you will find a complete set made for this ship. But what you can get is sets of railings and ladders, hatches and doors plus a RN AA gun update set. I think either WEMS or GMM has all of these. Not sure about Toms. But you can put together enough sets to dress your model up nicely!

Steve this is the Eastern Express kit in 1/415 scale.
Could use the 1/700 barrels for the AA guns though.

This HMS Tiger was the Light cruiser , commissioned in 1959. Here is a photo of the ship before she was turned into a missile cruiser.
Good looking ship!
