I am thinking about buying one 1:350 Tamiya Bismarck to build for display for my dad, is this model any good, I think since it's Tamiya, so can't be too off..
And I never built any Ship model before, mainly Armors, so is there any AM items for the ship, I mean any metal barrels for the 15" gun or something?
Any help and comment will be greatly appreciated.

It is an excellent kit!!
There are some AM products out there for this model.
Unfortunatetly, I don't recall who makes those products

What are you looking for. I have a website which I sell products for models...... send me an email to [email protected] or my partner [email protected] for what you are looking for and we can give you some prices..... I have the the model myself and I purchased the photoetech parts for it to give a better look.

White Ensign Models, Eduard, and Gold Medal Models all make photo-etch sets for the Bismarck. I think that GMM has the best overall set.
I also think that Clipper makes a set of 15 inch barrels.
Good Luck,
