Good day, I am looking for an old ship kit in 1/48 scale. The kit I am looking for is a fishing trawler ,and I can't remember if it was made by glencoe or lindberg. The kit has to at least 25 years old and there was an article in the old Scale Modeler magazine in the late 70'S. I have tried e-bay but no luck.Any hel would be greatly appreciated .Thanks

I could be really wrong but I seem to think our LHS, local hobby store, here might have that. It gives me a great excuse to stop in on the way home. Like I needed one. :-) I'll let you know.

Thanks for your fast reply. They didn't show it listed but I e-mailed them with my request, a very interesting site. Thanks again

Just got back from the LHS. They have a Lindberg "Tuna Clipper" and on the box it shows a "Atlantic Trawler" The Tuna Clipper doesn't say the scale, only that it's about 14 inches long. That's only about 56 feet if it's 1:48. Looking online the only thing I can find is that it's 1:87.

The box looks brand new like it it's been re-released. The one I was thinking of was a different box.
