Its not exactly a warship question i know, but after proudly displaying my latest creation to my wife(Tamiya Rodney on water diorama), the only comment i got was "Oh, another grey ship! how about doing something interesting for a change". So to keep her happy, and seeing that she likes the movie, i'm going to build a Titanic. 1/1200 is too small but i dont't want a monstrosity either. About 300mm long will be great.
Does anyone have any suggestions on which scale and manufacturer i should be looking at.
Thanks
lee

Hi there and welcome to the site....
If I remeber right, Revell has a kit out of the Titanic and is fairly cheap. I saw it at a local Wal-Mart store. You may be able to find it on any online hobby shop. As for the scale, I don't remember, but it was smaller than the big acadamy 1/350 scale kit. Check out my web site and take a peek at my 1/350th scale Titanic. The one I have started on is the Academy kit. Yes, it's a biggie, but the best kit of this ship for the money.
I sure hope that I helped ya out some....
