Hello All
I am building an LCM3 during the French Indochina war and am stumped as to their colours. Any Ideas?
I appreciate there were both Navy and Army operated vessels, were they different colours?
Any help greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Dus

Hi Dus...
I have some references magazines that may help you (Navires & Histoire) - I'll let you know something tonight/tomorrow morning
Meanwhile... enjoy:

Thanks Rui,
The one I am building has a slightly different armour layout and more sandbags.
Oh, and yes I will need to sort out a nice big Tricolor for the stern!

Hi Dus!
Sorry for the late reply - some things got in the way!
From all the pictures that I have in my references, I would say that they were light gray.
But then, there's this book cover:
where the colour appears to be a Medium Gray/Blue Gray (?)...
Since most of the craft and ships were inherited from US Navy, I would say the same colours would apply
Any French Member can give any further help?
