A few months ago, the Spanish manufacturer, Mig Productions, surprised and amazed everone by releasing a 1/35th scale WWII Patrol Boat in 1/35th scale. Now, Mig have announced a new release, designed specifically for diorama builders - a ''half-sunken'' version. This truly spectacular new release, can be seen:

Thank you for posting the News, Jim!
I think that this Bronekater will be a better seller than the Full Hull (intact) one for three reasons:
- Price
- Dimension needed for the Display
- Diorama possibilities
Good work Miguel, I can see that you will make profit out of your Leningrad Diorama

Absolutely stunning! I think this might well sell better than the full version, since it's cheaper. The possibilty of those dockside dio's are building up......Thanks Jim....good news!

Yes, in fact I decided to make that version motivated by many modellers that needed that ship just for a simple diorama to combinate with any vehicle in the river. So I made it and used for one diorama.
I agree that the measurement is less tha the new one and is better for diorama builders, and also is cheaper to produce.
It is a clear example of a product coming from modeller necesities.
In another hand, I would like to announce here that we have waiting to release in the next months another small soviet boat, a PG 117, smaller like a small truck, but very fun one because you can paint it with hard camo, like a tank.
I have the master, but we need to prepare it for casting.
I must admit that I am falling in love for boats and ships and I am discovering a new world.
All the best

OH NO!!!!!
Miguel, this way I will have more trouble explaining to Mrs Skipper another box :-)
As I usually tell others, once you're in it - you will never be abble to quit (Ships, off course!!!!)
I am looking forward to see the little PG-117, and as you know, you can count with one for me, please!

It was a real headache actually 'classifying' this for the News Section:
Warship Section: Logical, it is a model warship..
However, its not a full-hull or waterline kit so:
Diorama section ahh... very obvious, it's designed for a diorama Although...
AFVs it's got a T34 turret, so that makes it a hybrid....
If anyone can suggest a logical way of putting it in Aircraft, i'd be delighted to see it..Jim

Jim!
You have posted it in the right place!
Even if it is a sunken boat, it is still a BOAT
