What, no pink submarine plates?! Geez, I figure Osprey whould do better research on US subs in WW2. :-)

Looks like a great book.

No pink ones, Bro, but a slight reference to an unusual "yellow one" spotted from time to time in the depths! :-)

But seriously, a pretty decent book. The New Vanguard series from Osprey are kind of like the Readers Digest condensed stories...They cram alot of useful information into a small amount of space, with a load of good pics and illustrations...sometimes not a great modeling reference, but a great reference, period. If you want a good little reference manual touching a little bit about alot of topics of the US Subs of this time period, then I don't think you'll be dissapointed in this one, Mates...AND, as the Skip has previously said, just in time for DDD2!
