I’m painting the hornet as she was during the battle of midway.
I can’t remember which color to use for the hanger deck.
Model Master gunship gray or flight deck stain 21? For some reason the color guide I made up for it lists both of them.
Also does anyone have any clue what I bought flat gull gray for on this ship?
I know I got it with the paint for the hornet but I don’t have it listed for anything.
thanks

Gunship gray will work just fine for the hangar deck. Flight Deck Stain 21 isn't correct for the CV-8 Hornet at all. Her flight deck was painted with the Norfolk 250N Blue stain...and there is a HUGE difference in the colors....

Thanks Martin.
For the flight deck I have deck blue paint that I’m going try to put down on top of a wood color to get a stain like effect.
I don’t know where Flight Deck Stain 21 came from so I’ll change my color guide now.
