I read about this on another forum as well. I really like the way the British name ships. This class combines two traditions. The tradition of naming them all begining with the same letter, and the tradition of giving them great names from former ships. Daring, Dauntless, Diamond, Dragon, Defender, Duncan, are all good names from former ships. I still don't like the way modern ships look, but these at least have some great history behind their names.

They do make the IJN Pagoda style battleship bridges look good.
